Boolean search terms are the words; and / or / not. When searching in a library database use these words to refine your search. For example; use the word "and" when you want to get fewer results, such as "reckless driving and texting". To find more information use "or". For example; "capital punishment or death penalty" will find information on either term. Use "not" when you want to exclude a term from your search. For example; "depression not mental" will exclude mental depression.
