Q. Is the library closed for semester break?

In-between semesters, the library is typically open from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, and closed weekends and holidays. The library is closed during Thanksgiving Break and Winter Break, but remains open during Spring Break. For the most current and complete information about our hours, please visit library.jccc.edu/hours.

During semester breaks, the central study space and computers in the Academic Resource Center (LIB 1st floor) remain accessible from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. The tutoring centers (Language, Math, Science, Writing, and Academic Achievement Centers) will be closed as study spaces and for tutoring; however, if students need tutoring during semester breaks while the college is open, they can reach out to the appropriate center to request to be connected to a tutor.
