You can renew a library book as long as nobody else is requesting it. Please note that library materials can only be renewed one time by the user checking out the item, so if you have already renewed a book once, you will not be able to renew it again without checking it back in first.
To renew your checkouts, go to the library homepage at library.jccc.edu and click on the link "My Library Account" at the bottom of the page. Log in using your JCCC email and password, and follow the prompts to renew the library books you have checked out. You can also call the Library Service Desk at 913-469-3871 during open hours to request a renewal.
If you checked out an Interlibrary Loan book, you will not be able to renew the Interlibrary Loan through "My Library Account." Please follow the instructions on the yellow slip that came with the loan in order to renew the book.
